Tuniu Appoints Chief Marketing Officer

NANJING, China, Oct. 11, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tuniu Corporation (NASDAQ:TOUR) ("Tuniu" or the "Company"), a leading online leisure travel company in China, today announced that Mr. Fuwei Chen, Tuniu’s Vice President of Marketing, has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately.

Mr. Chen joined Tuniu in 2006 as a core member of the founding team. He has led multiple departments within the Company including technology research and development, website and mobile, and marketing. After his promotion to Vice President of Marketing in 2014, Mr. Chen played a key role in leading Tuniu’s effort in marketing and branding. Prior to joining Tuniu, Mr. Chen was a software engineer at Bokee.com, a leading Chinese blogging platform. Mr. Chen received his B.A. from East China Normal University.
